I hope that I am not excommunicated for this, but I am actually considering a Cayenne as a compliment to my Carrera. I can't seen subjecting my 996 to New England winters.

The new Cayenne looks a little better, will probably not get the weight reduction it needs, should get refreshed engines (to compete with VW), and may benefit from a better interior. I was a Cayenne-hater, but I think it would be a good winter vehicle (think ski trips). At this point, the big downside appears to be the gas mileage.
