I'm considering trading my 2003 C4S for a GT3 but I'm kind of unsure how suitable/practical a GT3 might be for a street-use only Sunday driver.
Can the GT3 owners give me some feedback of the pros vs. cons of the C4S vs. GT3 for street use?
Thanks!

No problem, they are great on the street, however you may consider a 997 S.Great power and even more suitable for the street.

I have almost 6000 miles on mine. I bought it for daily transport, as I have a Cup car for the track. However, I don't put snow tires on it and drive the truck in the Winter if the weather is bad. With a 4S, you can put snow tires on it and drive it all Winter as long as they plow the roads where you live.

The GT3 can be streetable depending on your driving conditions. If your roads are mostly smooth, the ride will be acceptable. Also, the chassis won't get too upset by bumps as it does on rough roads. Personally, the GT3 is more of a track car than a street car. If you are not going to drive it on the track, you may not be happy with it.

I have had my GT3 a year and I have only driven it on the street. It is a blast. 11,000 miles and going strong. Then again, the roads here in florida are very smooth.

Aren't the roads there also really straight? Where do you go to hit the twisties if you avoid the track?
