When I first got my C4, I had the speakers and stereo amp replaced with aftermarket units. The sound was greatly increased. However, at the time I did not want to add a subwoofer or replace my head unit because I wanted to keep the stock look of the interior.
But now, I want to have XM radio and MP3 playback capabilities. I have elected to purchase and have installed the ALpine 7995 head unit. But before I get it installed, I wanted to know if anyone has this unit in their 996? I think that the silver/black finish of the Alpine will match fairly well due to the silver accents in my interior. But I just wanted to see if someone can post a photo of a simuliar unit installed in their dash.

I have NAV in my '00 C4 - I'd like to move the NAV CD unit to the trunk and install a single CD player. Comments / suggestions ... anyone ever do that?
