Hello friends,
I'm a former Porsche owner, who really misses my 2 babies
I joined here mainly to reminisce and to ask a few questions.
1) What was the first year Porsche exported the Turbo to the US? 2) What was the engine displacement at that time? 3) At what HP/torque did the normally-aspirated 911s peak in the 1970s? 4) I'd really like to have the URL for a good site that has all of these statistics?
Thanks in advance, Dave

First Model Year was 1976 for US. Displacement was 3.0L and power was 260hp. The normally aspirated 911's peaked at 190hp in 1973 (911S) for US cars and 308hp at 8,000rpm in 1973 for the 911 Carrera 2.8L RSR which was not imported here.
