I'm coming up on 30,000 miles and will need to have the spark plugs replaced. Is this something that I can do or is it best left to the dealer? What can I anticipate the dealer charging for the 30,000 mile checkup? Thanks much, Tim

I believe book time is about 6-7 hours, but in reality it does not take that long. You need to pull the rear bumper cover, pull the intercoolers, and then you will have access to the plugs.

Thanks Russ! I just happened to be searching the web, and this forum popped up, so I added it to the list!

I've changed the plugs on a 996 Turbo three times. The first time it took about 3 hours, and the last time it took about 2 hours. It's not a real hard job, just time consuming.
