I went away last weekend and came home to a Cayenne with a dead battery. I had to open the door with the key. After getting it to the dealer, they said 'first Cayenne battery' they've had to replace and needed to order it. The strange thing is I've had the electric gremlins ever since I bought vehicle. The dealer had always attributed them to a Cayenne quirk and never did anything about them. Then they hit me with a list of recalls. They didn't exactly explain the list of recalls but there are many! What are the big recalls for this vehicle? I do know about the hesitation transmission problem. Mine has done it since day 1. Thanks!

But I think the V6 has been a bit more reliable compared to the S and Turbo. Well, they are made at a diff plant ... but interesting.
Problems aside, do you still enjoy it?

Of course, I love my Cayenne! The battery did have a dead cell and was replaced under warranty. They also changed something on the headlights and adjusted something else. I'm so technical! It's one year now since I've owned the Cayenne and I can't praise it enough except for gas mileage. I am amazed to get 17MPG which is partial highway and city driving. I plan to keep it unless there are 'issues' down the road.
